Yes, we use pictures for identification purposes at the front desk, so all members are required to have one on their account. Each time you enter, the front desk staff will ask for your last name or account number to check you in. We do not have membership cards.

Weekly operating hours will be listed in the emails sent to all members. Generally our hours are Monday through Sunday, 11-9 during the summer. These are adjusted while FCPS is still in session (many of our lifeguards are still in school) and when a pool or swim/dive team activity is scheduled.

Yes, you can purchase guest passes by logging into your account for $8 per person/per day when purchased in advance. It is best to purchase guest passes in advance, so they are loaded into your account and can easily be redeemed at the front desk when you arrive. Guest Passes purchased at the front desk are $10 per person/per day. Guest passes can be limited if the pool is at capacity, and are restricted to a daily use limit for households.

Yes, paid members may reserve our Pavilion for rental for parties at Woodley. Information on the fees, what they include and how to request a reservation is available on our website.

Yes, the Woodley Warriors Competitive swim and dive teams and the Mini Warriors developmental team are open to all Woodley Pool households in good standing. Woodley Pool dues must be paid prior to registration for the Swim/Dive teams. More information is available on the website. https://www.woodleypool.org/swim-dive

Yes, we welcome you to bring food and enjoy it at Woodley. We have a refrigerator/freezer, ice maker, and grills available for member use. Members also frequently have food delivered to Woodley - our address for deliveries is 7421 Camp Alger Ave, Falls Church, VA 22024. The food will be brought to the front desk and the staff will call you over the loud speaker when it arrives.

Woodley has two vending machines - one for snacks and one for drinks. The vending machines take cash and can take electronic payments. We also sell ice cream and popsicles at the front desk. These are cash only. We also have several events that provide food for sale as well, including weekly Hot Dog dinner sales on Sundays and scheduled food truck visits.

Social events will be advertised on the bulletin board as you enter Woodley, and are included in the weekly emails to all members during the summer. We also list them on the website calendar at https://www.woodleypool.org/calendar. Past events include Bingo, adult night, karaoke, beer & brats.

The last 15 minutes of each hour is a mandatory break/rest time for all children 14 years and younger. This is an opportunity for adults to use the pool and children to take a break.

Yes, we keep one or two lap lanes open during general operating hours. They are available on a first come first serve basis, and can be shared by several members.

The baby pool is available for children 5 and under only. Infants and toddlers who are not toilet-trained must use a swim diaper in both pools. We have extras available at the front desk. Changing tables are available in the women’s and men's restrooms for your convenience.

We are required to close the pool facility for 30 minutes for thunder, lightning or rain that causes visibility issues. During this time, you will need to wait in your vehicle and will not be permitted to wait in the facility. Children awaiting a ride from a parent during this time, may temporarily wait at the front desk, if needed.

Woodley’s facilities include several other activities beyond the pool. We have a newly refurbished (2024) basketball court with optional pickleball, table tennis, giant connect four, giant Jenga blocks.
